Ho Chi Minh city - The Verdict

So although enjoying some parts of Ho Chi Minh city I am disappointed to say that we would not return :( we found it to be to much for us, we just didn't like the traffic, feeling unsafe and just the general feel of the city, some May like it, it just wasn't our cup of tea.........

Pro's - losts of history and tourist places to see, lots of market places to find your cheap souvenirs/clothes, hotel staff were very friendly and were constantly doing things for you and cheap food! The post office was very efficient and we sent stuff home very easily and with confidence.

Cons - we did not feel safe everywhere, found it very hard to cross the road and did not like that no one stopped for you EVER, although food was cheap it was hard to find somewhere decent to eat, lots of markets but the locals didn't really want to budge on there prices.

Although not enjoying Ho Chi Minh city as much as we thought it was definitely an experience !! And one we wouldn't do again but we are glad we did it! Once In a lifetime :)
