Sydney....the second time around :)

We were so looking forward to getting back to sydney :) we loved it there and it will be nice to end the australia part of our world tour in a good place.

This time round we were staying at sydney central yha....

....it was more like a hotel!

This hostel was great it was more like a hotel then a Hostel! And had a great sauna and swimming pool on the top floor with a great view :) we were staying in a four bed dorm. It was fine snd had loads of room and huge lockers!

The first night we arrived we went straight to darling harbour for one of the best vegi burgers we have ever tasted from a place called "wishbone!" It had a vegi patty, lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese and sweet chilli sauce and home made mayo! It was so scrummy :) we had a great evening just chilling at darling harbour :)

 ....it was a lovely evening :)

We had a earlyish night ready for exploring tomorrow! 

The next day we decided to just walk....and we walked all over sydney and we found a lindt chocolate cafe! Lukes fave chocolate .....

.....of course he had a hot chocolate ! It was rude not to really!

We continued our walk and we ended up opposite the opera house :) 

We asked a couple from asia walking past to take our pic with the opera house in the background....they took loads we were excited to be having all these great pics with the opera house behind us......these were the pics we got.....

We walked around the small parks opposite it and got a great view of the sydney bridge aswell....

....it was a great view.

It was a great first full day we really enjoyed our stroll around sydney :) that evening we went to darling harbour for a fireworks display it was really good and looked lovely over the city, this nice we also gad our second vegi burger! 

The next day we decided to walk around hyde park and the botanical gardens.....it was a beautiful day and during the day we walked to the anzac building, the fountain in hyde park, a beautiful church, and then onto the botanical gardens which were beautiful.....

We had noticed that all around the city was models of rhinos and it was pieces of art work that were put there to help save the rhinos it was a really good idea... And they were really pretty....

We walked all the way round to opposite the opera house on the other side from yesterday! And it gave us a stunning view of the opera house with the bridge in the background!

Unfortunately the next day which was our last full day in sydney, it was raining and hard! So we couldnt really do a lot! We had some stuff to send home again!! As our luggage was over weight as you read before on our last flight! So we had to be really ruthless! We hadn't brought anything new apart from sleeping bags and pair of shorts but we decided it was down to the stuff we were carrying in our day bags that now had to be put in our suitcase! Anyway we decided to send back my trainers as i had walking shoes that i needed to keep with me and that i wore all the time so they had to go home, we also sent back a few clothes, our waterproof trousers and a few souvenirs it weighed 3.5kg! And was only about £25 to send by sea so wasnt to bad! So we sent that and then used the wifi in the shopping center and then it was time to go back and pack our bags ready for fiji, after a while packing we finally got the weight right and ended up this time with 6kg to spare so worth sending stuff home and throwing loads of clothes away we lost 6kg! We was pleased and it was a relief! 

We got dominos that night for dinner as it was cheap night and got chatting to a nice lady who proceded to inform me of all the places i could write to to complain about a few of the hostels we have stayed in! It was very interesting! Anyway we tried to have an ealry night but as per usual i was still awake at 2.30am we had to get up at 5.30! But that seems to be normal for the day before we travel ! We was so excited to get to fiji.

We thoroughly enjoyed sydney our last stop in australia....we are just in love with the city :) it really is our fave place in oz and although we didnt do a lot in our weekend there we had a great time just walking around the city and seeing things that we didnt see last time we was there, we got some great pics, and was pleased to end our tour in oz in a great city :) but we were so excited to get to fiji :) and was ready to move on.
